During the ceremony, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated, "Our country's economy, which closed last year with a 5.1% growth, achieved a growth of 3.8% in the first six months of this year, largely due to net goods and services exports. We raised our per capita national income to $13,243 by the end of last year. With God's permission, we aim to reach the $15,000 mark by the end of this year."
Regarding the award, the Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, commented, "As the flag carrier that maintains its position at the top as Turkey's service export champion, we continue to represent our country proudly in the global arena. This achievement, which surpasses our targets in the field of service exports—one of the important indicators of Turkey's economic growth—was made possible thanks to the exceptional efforts of our employees and the trust of our guests. We are determined to raise our flag higher with innovative steps in the future."
