Uraloğlu: We Will Reduce Travel Time by 20 Minutes with the Çamlıhemşin Tunnel

In his speech at the Çamlıhemşin Tunnel Opening Ceremony, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, stated, “Our road integrates with the Ayder Renewal and Protection Project, beginning from the Pazar - Ardeşen junction of the Black Sea Coastal Road, passing through Çamlıhemşin. The 960-meter Çamlıhemşin Tunnel, the 2,252-meter Hala Tunnel, four bridges with a total length of 215 meters, three intersections, and a three-kilometer connecting road bring the total length of our project to 39.5 kilometers. Once our road is completed, we will achieve a 2-kilometer reduction on the existing road and a 20-minute decrease in travel time.”
