Logo Software Focuses on the Earthquake Zone with the "Coding Their Dreams" Project

Foreks - This year, Logo Yazılım, Turkey's largest domestic business software company, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. As part of the "Dream Coders" social responsibility project, it has established four different workshops and computer laboratories in Defne, Kırıkhan, and İskenderun districts of Hatay, making them ready for educational activities. Robotics coding workshops have been held for students at Harbiye Selman Nasır Eskiocak Middle School and Kırıkhan Mimar Sinan Middle School. Additionally, computer laboratories have commenced operations at Şehit Serkan Talan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and İskenderun Rotary Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

In its 40th year, the goal is to reach over 5,000 students in 9 different cities. With the "Dream Coders" project initiated in 2019, in collaboration with the All Children are Ours Association (BÇBD) and Atölye Vizyon, Logo Yazılım aims to teach children coding from an early age, helping them acquire 21st-century skills. The newly established computer laboratories aim to equip vocational school students with the skills required for the professional world by enabling them to learn Logo programs before graduation.

With the openings held in Hatay, a total of 13 workshops, computer laboratories, and libraries have been established in 8 different provinces under the "Dream Coders" project. Logo Yazılım, in conjunction with ongoing preparations for workshops and a library in Kahramanmaraş and Elazığ, aims to reach over 5,000 students at 15 locations in 9 different cities by the end of 2024.

Contribution to Turkey's future Tuğrul Tekbulut, Chairman of the Board of Logo Group, stated that they continue to expand the impact of the "Dream Coders" project, expressing, "As a company that pioneered the software industry in Turkey 40 years ago, we feel responsible for our country’s future. Students’ progress is monitored throughout their education Logo Yazılım focuses on social sustainability issues in line with its commitment to quality education, gender equality, and decent work and economic growth, outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Within the "Dream Coders" project, the aim is to develop mechanical skills and analytical abilities among students aged 8-14. Logo Yazılım maintains an ongoing role in the education of students participating in the program that teaches coding and solution-oriented thinking through enjoyable and diverse methods. It identifies their successes and needs, tracking the development of the students.
