SNB/Schegel: We Will Continue to Target Low Inflation

Forex - Swiss National Bank (SNB) President Martin Schlegel stated that the bank will continue to aim for low inflation as a cornerstone of its monetary policy. Schlegel emphasized that keeping inflation in the range of 0-2% has been a key factor in the strong performance of the Swiss economy in recent years. In his speech at an event in Zurich, he remarked, "The Swiss economy has performed well in international comparisons. The SNB has contributed to this performance by maintaining price stability despite significant deflationary and inflationary risks. Moving forward, the SNB will continue to contribute to favorable economic conditions in Switzerland by ensuring price stability."
