Oil Transported Through Pipelines from Turkey Increased by 8.5% in October

The amount of crude oil transported through pipelines running through Turkey increased by 8.5% in October compared to the previous month. According to data on BOTAŞ's website, the oil flow from 4 pipelines in October reached 27 million 776 thousand barrels, up from 25 million 609 thousand barrels in September.

There are five crude oil pipelines that cross Turkey: Iraq-Turkey, Ceyhan-Kırıkkale, Batman-Dörtyol, Dörtyol-Ceylan, and BTC. However, there has been no oil flow through the Iraq-Turkey pipeline for more than two years.

In that month, the amount of oil received from BTC increased from 17 million 392 thousand barrels in September to 19 million 20 thousand barrels in October. A total of 2 million 931 thousand barrels were transported from the Ceyhan-Kırıkkale line, 2 million 893 thousand barrels from the Batman-Dörtyol line, and 2 million 932 thousand barrels from the Dörtyol-Ceylan line.

In the first ten months of the year, the total oil flow recorded was 268 million 407 thousand barrels, composed of 27 million 945 thousand barrels from the Ceyhan-Kırıkkale line, 28 million 752 thousand barrels from the Batman-Dörtyol line, 27 million 765 thousand barrels from the Dörtyol-Ceylan line, and 183 million 945 thousand barrels from the BTC line.
