Energy Minister Bayraktar Holds Talks on Renewable Energy Collaborations with Officials from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Bulgaria
Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar held discussions with officials from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Bulgaria regarding the establishment of a green energy corridor aimed at enhancing renewable energy collaborations and supporting the carbon-neutrality goals of the countries involved.
Speaking through X, Bayraktar stated: "During the Istanbul Energy Forum, we held a quadrilateral ministerial meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mr. Levan Davitashvili, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Mr. Perviz Shahbazov, and the Minister of Energy of Bulgaria Mr. Vladimir Malinov.
In our discussions, we focused on the contributions of strengthening our renewable energy collaborations to the carbon-neutrality goals of our countries. We also addressed possible actions to increase interconnection capacities to enhance energy supply security."
