Unemployment Insurance Fund Total Assets Reach 323.2 Billion TL

In October, the total assets of the Unemployment Insurance Fund increased by 30 billion 252 million 932 thousand TL compared to the previous month, reaching 323.2 billion TL. According to data from the "Unemployment Insurance Fund Bulletin" by İŞKUR, the fund's securities and cash assets, which stood at 307 billion 158 million 393 thousand TL at the end of September, rose to 323 billion 236 million 835 thousand TL by the end of October. As of November 8, 2024, the Fund Assets were recorded at 319 billion 196 million 264 thousand TL. Of the fund's assets, 67.26% were invested in bonds, 29.44% in deposits, and 3.29% in the Repo Money Market.

  • Unemployment Insurance Fund Payments - From March 2002 to October 31, 2024, a total of 20,428,975 individuals applied for unemployment benefits, with 11,073,318 qualifying to receive payments. Within this scope, a total of 98,660,319,453 TL was disbursed to eligible individuals. In the October 2024 period, together with those who continued to receive payments from the previous period, 420,904 individuals were paid a total of 3,714,921,694 TL.

  • Short-Time Work Compensation - From September 2005 to October 31, 2024, 4,319,744 individuals who applied were deemed eligible for short-time work compensation. A total of 38,201,993,371 TL was paid to eligible individuals. In the October 2024 period, along with ongoing payments from the previous period, a total of 632,341 TL was disbursed for 238 individuals.

  • Cash Wage Support - From April 2020 to October 31, 2024, 3,200,908 individuals qualified for cash wage support. A total of 14,686,608,264 TL was paid to eligible individuals. In October 2024, together with ongoing payments from the previous period, a total of 13,640 TL was disbursed for 5 individuals.
