Switzerland's Six Group Acquires Aquis Exchange

Swiss stock market operator SIX Group AG has agreed to acquire UK-based trading exchange and data provider Aquis Exchange Plc for approximately £194 million. This deal will be the largest for SIX since its purchase of the Spanish stock exchange operator Bolsas y Mercados Espanoles SA for around £2.8 billion in 2020. SIX Group has offered 727 pence in cash per Aquis share, representing a 120% premium based on the company's closing price on Friday.
