Local Entrepreneurs to Be Supported in Cybersecurity
In 2025, the focus will shift towards domestic and national solutions in the field of cybersecurity. The goal is to achieve a localization rate of 82%, with domestic and proficient solutions addressing cybersecurity needs to the greatest extent possible, while also supporting local entrepreneurs.
According to a report, the Presidential Annual Program for 2025 emphasizes the critical importance of the cybersecurity sector due to its economic dimension and its close relationship with national security, outlining significant steps to be taken in this area. The program states, "Cybersecurity needs in both defense and security as well as civil domains will be met to the greatest extent possible with domestic and proficient solutions." Additionally, it was noted that domestic cybersecurity solutions will be implemented in IT projects under the Presidency of Defense Industries and that contributions will be made to the development of domestic products. The declared target for localization in the defense industry is set at 82%.
