Pınar Meat CEO Demir: Our Products Are Attracting Great Interest in the Global Market
Foreks - Pınar Et, a company that introduced innovations to the food sector in Turkey and added value to the country with its presence in both domestic and international markets, continues to expand its range of frozen products by focusing intensely on innovation to quickly respond to consumer demands and adapt to market dynamics.
Pınar Et General Manager Hüseyin Demir stated, "The total size of frozen flour products, meat products, and seafood in Turkey has reached nearly 5 billion TL. The frozen food sector has grown rapidly and has attracted attention in recent years. Socio-economic factors such as the increase in the participation of homemakers in the workforce and the rise in the number of individuals living alone are behind this growth. We see that consumers, when faced with time constraints, are turning to products that can be prepared quickly while also seeking variety and innovation. In the frozen products market, the largest share is held by dough products. When looking at revenues, the market consists of 65% dough, 29% meat, and 6% seafood. Particularly after the pandemic, frozen dough, meat, and fish products have started to be seen in 72 out of 100 households."
"Products Attracting Great Interest in the Global Market" Hüseyin Demir highlighted that they continue to work to diversify frozen foods in line with healthy living trends, stating, "Our products, such as the Planty Family, which includes Power Burger, Meatballs, and Nuggets developed in line with the plant-based nutrition trend, and the Gluten-Free Pizza Base catering to the gluten-free trend, have gained significant interest and acceptance globally. These products addressing special dietary preferences have also started to find their place on shelves in Turkey. The frozen food sector is showing significant growth by complying with both consumer expectations and sustainability principles. Furthermore, technological advancements support the process by preserving the quality and freshness of the products for a long time, thereby supporting growth in the sector."
"We Will Focus on Digitalization and Innovation" Stating that they will shape future marketing strategies focused on digitalization and innovation, Hüseyin Demir said, “We will introduce our products to wider audiences through social media platforms and digital advertising, create stronger connections with consumers, and increase engagement. We will enhance the accessibility of our products by strengthening e-commerce channels and retail partnerships. Additionally, we will develop various initiatives to raise consumer awareness with the theme of healthy living and sustainability.”
